Depending on the time, a quick welcome drink together at the hotel will be a great opportunity to get to know one another.

After that, we will meet at the hotel lobby at 1:30pm to go to our Bo-Kaap walking tour & story time with a local which will offer you a good chance to learn about it's interesting history during the protests against apartheid. Did you know that South Africa has 11 official languages? Cape Town is a melting pot of so many diverse cultures that are evident throughout the city.
In the evening we will head back to our accommodation to freshen up for our Welcome Dinner at 6:30pm at an award winning and unique African restaurant 'Gold' with some live performances.

Day 3: Tuesday 10th September

Today, we have our first round of golf at Pearl Valley Golf Club with tee off at 9:50. The bus will leave the hotel lobby at 8am. This magnificent course is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design and one not to be missed in the Cape Town Region. This exclusive club is one my favourite in the Cape Town Region.

After our round, we have a chance to go on a Sunset Cruise of Cape Town if we depart the golf course quick enough.

Day 4: Wednesday 11th September

Today we will have our second free day off of the golf course to explore beautiful Cape Town.
Enjoy a day to yourself or join Ari to catch the Ferry to Robben Island. The short Ferry ride will take you to where Nelson Mandela was held with tours offering an insight into the historic location. Hear from past detainee's of their stories and how prisoners managed to create a revolution behind bars.
Then in the evening, join Ari in catching the Cable Car up Table Mountain to enjoy the views overlooking the city and southern cape of South Africa.

The Garden Route
Day 7: Saturday 14th September
An early start to our day will see us leaving Cape Town and heading east along the Garden Route towards George for our next 4 nights. The 4 hour trip is much like our Great Ocean Road snaking along the eastern coastline in certain parts when we get closer to George, and also through beautiful contry vistas of farms more inland. Your Accommodation will be at the Protea by Marriott. If time allows, we will be stopping off at smaller touristy towns and botanic gardens on the way to the accommodation, like Hermanus.

Day 8: Sunday 15th September
Today we will be heading to the stunning Pezula Golf Course for an 9amm tee off. This course has holes running along the ocean on the headland much like you see in Hawaii and San Diego, but with views of the Indian Ocean and Outeniqua mountains. A short chipping clinic will be conducted beforehand if time allows. This course may have green renovations in effect from 2 week prior

After our round, we will quickly have to hop in the van to head to the Knysna Elephant Park. Here we will get to get up close and and feed the elephants for the perfect photo oportunity while the guides educate you on some of the most interesting facts. Can you guess what the closest relative to an elephant is?

Day 9: Monday 16th September
Today, we get to play the stunning Pinnacle Point Golf Course just outside George. This links style golf course is set ontop of clifftop with 270 degree views of the Indian Ocean. This course is known to be a challenge however on a good day, its likely you'll take more photos than golf shots. Tee off is at 12:20am
Personally, this was my most favourite course from last year, despite only getting 4 holes in with foggy conditions.

Day 10: Tuesday 17th September

Today is your free day in the Garden Route Region of George with lots of sight seeing in the beautiful region. Join the group at 9 on the Outeniqua power van that heads through the forest / waterfalls and tunnels of the Outeniqua mountains. Feel free to bring your own light lunch for a picnic with a view. After that, we are heading to the Cango Caves. These huge caves are a truly majestic experience in the county of Oudtshoorn, being one of South Africa’s oldest tourist attractions. The Precambrian limestones has created stunning features and is the largest naturally occurring cave system in Africa, leading it to be considered one of the naturally occurring wonders of the world. Not to worry about any tight spaces, these caves are so huge, they've held concerts in them.
